Arctic Skua

Description: In size similar to a crow, the bird weighs 380-630 gr. There are both light- and dark-colored species. The lighter species are dark red-brown on the back, white on the belly side, showing a brown-black “cap”. The darker species are more or less uniformly red-brown, darker on the head.

Habitat: Arctic skuas are migratory, nesting in tundra zones of Eurasia andNorth America.
