Cyperus-Like Sedge

Carex pseudocyperusIt is a perennial bunchgrass 30-100 cm tall. Its flower spikes are 2-6 cm long, drooping on peduncles 4-5 cm long below the staminate.

It is widespread, more common in non-chernozem belt: in marshes, peat waters, alder moors, peat ditches, and quite often in water. It flowers from May to July.
