White Stork

Description: A large bird with long neck and long legs, the white stork is a little bigger than the black stork; all of its plumage is white, save for the black quills. The beak and legs are orange-red. Its length is 100-115 cm, and with the wingspan of 155-200 cm an adult species may weigh up to4 kg.

Habitat: A common bird, nesting in settlements, and feeding in the open landscapes – vast and damp meadows, swamps, wastelands and fields.
