Grey Heron

Description: A large bird with long legs and the long neck S-shaped in flight, so that the head is somewhat retracted into the shoulders. This is what makes this heron different from other large long-legged birds – cranes and storks – that fly with their necks stretched out. The main color tone of the plumage is light-grey, as well as white and black. Its length is 90-98 cm.

Habitat: It nests next to large water bodies with shallows, both in pairs and in colonies.
