Anti-Fever Fontinalis (Brook) Moss

Fontinalis antipyreticaThe anti-fever fontinalis moss is spread through Europe, Asia, North Africa and North America. In the wild, it reaches up 70 cm in length. Due to the vast areal, it comes in subspecies differing by the shape of leaves. It usually grows on rocks, anchoring to them with rhizoids. The brook moss is shapes as long emerald-green threads with densely alternating egg-shaped pointy leaves.

It propagates asexually via branching, and does so quickly when undisturbed.
